Still Making Art at the Academy

We are still active at the Academy for anyone questioning what's been happening. Mr. Chris has been very busy in other areas in life, making paintings, being a husband, working as usual...
So here's the latest in collage from the students in the Saturday class. The requirement being to use paper from different sources, ie. construction paper, wall paper, tissue and anything good for creating the artwork. They could only tear the paper and had a subject Miss Barbara had set up before them.
This is a good challenge for the students to simplify the forms and colors as they construct and respond to the still life before them.

You will also notice some individual differences in how they are distinctly original. This makes for better compostions.
